On Saturday, October, 15th, Laura Bourdreau, Michele Carl, Jeanne Laird, Jim Walker, and myself attended an informational event at the Pottstown Wal-Mart (9:00 -12:30) as part of their combined Women's Health and Fire Awareness campaign during the month of October. We were provided with a card table along the main aisle between the Men's and Women's departments inside the store. We did have some foot traffic and handed out a handful of loose pamphlets and activity books. In addition to staffing the table, we also handed-out 50 pre-stuffed bags (left over from National Night Out) to customers as they were exiting the store.  In general it was a good opportunity to be featured with other community organizations allowing us some face-time with the public to hand-out educational material.
