Basic First Aid for Young PeoplePresents safety and first aid information that young people might need to help themselves or someone else. Includes information on how to react in an emergency and the proper steps to take in various emergency situations. Variations of this hour-long program are available for students in grades 1 through 12.
Longfellow's Whale TalesThis video-based program teaches children about safe behavior in, on and around the water. Topics covered include always swimming in a supervised area, following posted rules and always wearing a life jacket when on a boat. Hands-on activities sheets and instructor-led exercises reinforce messages from video presentation. This program is appropriate for students in grades Kindergarten through fifth.
When I'm In ChargeThis video-based program discusses how to be safe and responsible when students are home on their own or taking care of younger family members. Stresses the importance of creating a "Home Alone Plan" with adult caregivers addressing each families' specific "home alone" rules and behavior expectations. Topics addressed include stranger safety, having a person to call, safe activities, an emergency plan and internet safety. This program is appropriate for students in grades first through fifth.
First Aid for Children Today (F.A.C.T.)This multiple-lesson program can be delivered as individual 30 minute lessons or as a complete set of six lessons. The lessons guide children in grades Kindergarten through second on a fun path to discover ways to help themselves and other be aware of dangers, prevent injuries and harm, and respond when injuries do happen.
Middle School Students

Babysitter's TrainingAges 11-16 learn skills and responsibilities relevant to becoming a babysitter including infant and child supervision, feeding, diapering, staying safe and how to best respond to emergencies. Includes babysitter safety kit.
High School Students
Basic First Aid for Young PeoplePresents safety and first aid information that young people might need to help themselves or someone else. Lifeguard InstructorTrains participants to teach Red Cross Lifeguard programs. Prerequisite: Candidates must be at least 16-years-old and hold a current lifeguard certificate.
First Aid with CPR/AED AdultParticipants learn how to best respond to emergency situations in the home or office so that they are able to provide care for breathing emergencies, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Note: This class is also offered in Spanish.
Pet First AidLearn how to keep your pets safe and act with confidence until help from a veterinarian can be obtained should your cat or dog sustain an injury or become suddenly ill. Includes a Pet First Aid kit and book.
